Long Term Care Reform

On August 5th, DHMH reconvened the Committee on Long-Term Care Reform. The purpose of this Committee is to examine Maryland's current delivery on long-term care services and supports and make recommendations on any necessary changes. A focus on the Committee is "rebalancing" efforts in Maryland to increase access to home-and-community based services. The Committee will continue to meet this Fall and will submit a plan to the General Assembly for the 2012 Legislative Session.
